Wuthering Waves update 1.4: Everything you need to know

As we previously told you in other news, the release of Wuthering Waves update 1.4 will take place on November 14 with the name When The Night Knocks, including a lot of new content expected by many players. Below is the trailer:

Wuthering Waves Update 1.4

With one of the major updates of Wuthering Waves about to be released, here we will summarize the contents of version 1.4 with its most important new features so you don’t miss anything.

New main event

The new main event of the update will be “Somnium Labyrinth”, a Somnolence themed event with a duration until January 1, 2025. This event will feature three sub-events called Dreamscape Odyssey, Rift Runner and Nightmare Revisits. We will have to rescue our Resonator companions from their Dreamscapes by entering the Somnoire to discover the truth behind the nightmares.

This event will consist of two types of rewards and it will be necessary to have level 17 Union to participate:

Time-limited rewards: They will be available for a short period of time once the event starts. The rewards are: Astrite x800, Somnoire Anchor x1, Projection: Somnoire Anchor x1, Hearty Supper x4, Forgery Premium Supply x1.
Permanent rewards: Once the limited period ends, the event will become permanent. The rewards are: Astrite x400, Malleable Elite Class Echo I, Malleable Elite Class Echo II, Premium Resonance Potion, Premium Energy Core.

More update events

In addition to the main event more events added to the main event have been announced:

Daily Login event to get Radiant Tide x5 and Lustrous Tide x5.
Depths of Illusory Realm as new “Phantasm Amass” content with new maps and new enemies along with the following rewards: Astrite x1000, Phantom: Infernal Rider, Malleable Elite Echo I, Malleable Elite Echo II, Premium Sealed Tube, Projection: Formless Broadblade, Projection: Formless Sword, Projection: Formless Pistol, Projection: Formless Gauntlets, Projection: Formless Rectifier.
Beyond the Waves. During the event you will be able to complete daily objectives to earn Adventure Notes, which we can redeem for Random Adventure Packs that you can get as rewards: Asterite x400, Lustrous Tide x5, Forgery Premium Supply, Premium Tuner, Crystal Solvent. The event will be available from November 21 until December 5.
Tactical Simulacra II, where we will again challenge waves of enemies with power-ups in different domains. The rewards are Astrite x600, Malleable Elite Echo I, Malleable Elite Echo II, Premium Enclosure Tank, Premium Tuner. The event will be available from December 19th until January 1st.
Ragunna Flash Blitz! where we will complete daily surveys for rewards. Complete the entire survey to get an exclusive view of the world of Rinascita. The event will be available from December 12 until January 1.
Pincer Maneuver Warriors will be a new event mode where we will face waves of enemies while controlling two teams with special upgrades in two separate battlegrounds.
Double rewards in Tacet Suppression and Simulation or Forgery Challenge from December 5 to December 12 and from December 25 to January 1 respectively.

New characters

Two new characters were also announced in Wuthering Waves update 1.4 along with the banners that will accompany them:

Camellya ( Resonator 6*) – First Resonator 6* character from the Havoc element. Her weapon will be Red Spring, a sword that will be obtained in a banner parallel to the unit.
Lumi ( Resonator 4*) – Electro element character that will be included in the permanent banner in the next version.

Featured banner characters will be:

Camellya ( Havoc 6*), Danjin ( Havoc 4*), Yangyang ( Aero 4*) and Aalto (Aero 4*) from the release of update 1.4 to December 12. All four characters will be available in the Resonator Trial during this period.
Yinyin (Electro 6*) and Xiangli Yao (Electro 6*), Lumi (Electro 4*), Baizhi (Glacio 4*) and Yuanwu (Electro 4*) from December 12 to January 1, 2025. There will be two separate banners with one 6* character in each and the same 4* characters in both. All five characters will be available in the Resonator Trial during this period.
