XD Games has officially confirmed the release date for Etheria: Restart. The turn-based tactical RPG will be available globally on June 5, 2025 for iOS, Android, PC, and Steam devices. Additionally, a final closed beta starting May 8 was announced, offering selected players early access to the latest features and characters.

Set in a futuristic and dazzling digital metropolis, Etheria: Restart immerses players in a universe where elite warriors, known as Hyperlinkers, command sentient beings called Animus in tactical and visually stunning combat.

Introduction of Freya: One of the standout announcements was the introduction of Freya, a new SSR-rarity Animus. Described as poised and powerful, Freya incorporates devastating ice magic and a complex backstory. Her elegant, glacial-themed design and her area control abilities position her as a cornerstone for both PvE and competitive strategies. Her narrative, marked by isolation and resilience, complements her precise and versatile combat style.

Gameplay Enhancements: New systems like the Smart Shells, which provide tactical AI support in battle, and the Origin Gear, a modular progression tool for deeper customization of Animus builds, were introduced. The Instance Dungeons have been revamped to streamline endgame PvE while retaining the game’s signature cinematic feel and incorporating new boss mechanics and more complex environments.
