With the launch of Horizon Walker comes the time to select the characters with which to start the adventure. Each character has unique abilities that depending on the situation and the choices we make can help us to a greater or lesser extent, so we have developed this Horizon Walker tier list to help you choose the best characters by evaluating all their facets in the game and that you have more clear that you should choose.
Horizon Walker Tier List
Tier S:
- Nika – Essential in the final stages of the game as the main core for its stealth and resilience.
- Evelett – Best unit with AoE damage. Requires combo with Ninset.
Tier A:
- Matros – High single target damage and high mobility. Very fragile.
- Mariam – Very strong with stealth and anti-counter attacks. Makes a great combo with Nika based on poisons.
- Nonoha – Offers movement and shield upgrades.
- Nimset – The best tank in the game, with provoke, area counterattack and emergency heal. Requires his specific weapon to stand out.
Tier B:
- Gillen – A decent tank with a provoke and magic resistance, but the range of his provoke is too small.
- Min Ensu – High cost shield character, requires hand play to use correctly.
- Ines – Has high single-target damage, eliminating enemies quickly. Excessively fragile.
- Lysandra – A versatile unit that can serve as both a healer and a tank. She does not excel at either.
- Pan Taili – It has a low cost provoke and unlimited counterattacks but with little range.
Tier C:
- Pretina – Tank with great vitality but lacks the tools to be a proper tank beyond that.
- Wangzai – Support of great use in the beginning of the game but later discarded.
- Delia – Similar to Evelett but with worse stats and limited utility.
- Ernest – Dps to a single target without further.
- Jin Jiaying – Fairly fragile magic unit support.
- Kela – Burn based mage with a high cost teleport.
- Luize – Generates burns but lacks stats unlike Nika.
- Kulani – Prevents counter attacks and slows opponents but has no real use.
- Lasatina – Healer with limited qualities.
- Su Zhuxi – Solely intended to support Nika but of no greater value than that.
Tier D:
- Yeon Chae-young: Not recommended to evolve, no real use.
- Grisk – Damage to a single target lower than other options with the same damage and area.
- Bella – Very fragile healer with no impact in battle.
- Alaha – Very fragile and no significant damage.
- Karina – Low cost but no real use in battle.
- Samalika – Same as Karina.
