Solo Leveling: ARISE - What's new in Version 3.0

Netmarble has announced version 3.0 of Solo Leveling: ARISE, where we will embark on an expedition to Jeju Island. Starting today, players can immerse themselves in the new story of the expedition to Jeju Island, a new SSR hunter, holiday-themed events, and much more.

Content of the update

Jeju Island Incursion: Chapters 21-23

Players can now complete chapters 21-23 of the main story, both on normal and hard difficulty. These new chapters feature Sung Jinwoo, a group of hunters, and the Shadow Army joining forces to fight the Ant King, a formidable magical beast that has suddenly appeared on Jeju Island.

New SSR hunter: Shimizu Akari

The new SSR hunter, Shimizu Akari, is a light-type healer from the Japanese faction. Shimizu charges into battle, cutting through her opponents while wielding a blazing axe to strike her enemies. Her special ability, Ring of Fire, gathers the power of the sun to temporarily create an annular eclipse that divides the world. She will also receive a special Christmas outfit.

Expansion of the Shadow System and new abilities

The update also brings new content to the Shadow system. The new Shadow, Beru, has a Shadow Authority that increases the attack and damage of the entire team. Shadows can now be promoted to the new rank of General, and a variety of new abilities are now at their disposal. Additionally, players can now change Sung Jinwoo‘s class to the new Abyss Master, use a new SSR weapon exclusive to Sung Jinwoo called the Gold-tailed Fox, and increase Sung Jinwoo‘s maximum level to 100.

New functionalities and challenges

In this new version, there is a new way for players to showcase their achievements in high-difficulty scenarios through the new Challenge Medals. Other updates include the Multiplayer feature for the Bright Light Workshop and five new Blessing Stones.

Festive vacation events

Players of Solo Leveling: ARISE can enjoy the Christmas festivities with multiple limited-time events. The login gift event Holiday Party! runs until January 1st, giving players the opportunity to obtain the new weapon for Sung Jinwoo mentioned earlier, the Gold-tailed Fox. There are also several Holiday Party! events available during the same period, where players can complete daily Holiday Party! missions, play mini-games like Match Isla’s Card!! and Take care of the Tree!. Blessing Stones, Gold, and other rewards can also be earned. The festivities will continue into 2025 with the Make a New Year’s Wish! event, which will welcome the new year. Players can receive the Alicia Blanche Authorized Outfit and Hunter Selection Tickets and New Year’s Celebration Hunter Weapon, among other rewards.
