The RPG mobile game OpenSpace: Over Field will cease its service temporarily on February 17, 2025, at 11:59 AM (JST). The announcement, made by the official game team, informs players about the decision to temporarily end the app’s activity following the conclusion of its agreement with NetEase.
As a measure to compensate players for their support, the company will issue “gift codes”. These codes, which will be redeemable for in-game rewards, are intended to ensure that players will be able to continue their gaming experience should the development team decide to re-release the title in the future. Precise details on the use of these codes will be communicated through in-game announcements, the official website and the game’s main social media account.
Note: It is clarified that the compensation plans are subject to change and are presented as the measures that, for the time being, are intended to be implemented.
The OpenSpace: Over Field team has expressed its appreciation for the support received during the life of the game and invites players to continue to enjoy the title until its closure.
