The Legend of Drunken Tiger Online CBT

NEXON has announced that its new casual RPG, The Legend of Drunken Tiger Online, developed by Supercat, will open its Closed Beta Test (CBT) phase on November 21, 2024 in Korea. This version, available on both mobile devices and PC, is a modern reinterpretation of the classic game, keeping its 2.5D pixel art style and adapting updated gameplay elements. Below, we detail the schedule and the benefits of participating in this test.

A Return to Nostalgia with New Features

The Legend of Drunken Tiger Online revives iconic characters and content from the original game, such as the popular A Da Hu, and events such as the Eating Contest and Martial Arts Tournament. During the CBT, players will experience new combat mechanics, such as the tagging system and character support system. In addition, they will be able to face field bosses and participate in team raids, immersing themselves in the game’s story and universe.

CBT and Pre-registration Schedule

The pre-registration phase is open from November 4 at 10:00 (KST) and will continue until November 21 at 09:59 (KST). Players will be able to make an early download starting November 20 at 10:00 (KST), allowing them to prepare before the start of the CBT.

Pre-registration and CBT Achievement Rewards

Nexon has prepared a series of rewards to encourage participation. Players who pre-register will receive 999 summon tickets and will have access to exclusive skins and other rewards that can be obtained during the daily login event. In addition, those who achieve various milestones during the CBT will receive help in combat with guardian spirits, as well as special items such as equipment boxes.

Presentation of the Game at G-STAR 2024

Prior to the CBT launch, The Legend of Drunken Tiger Online will be present at the G-STAR 2024 video game trade show in Busan, November 14-17. Nexon will offer visitors a trial version where they can experience basic combat mechanics and participate in classic content from the title. A total of 140 devices will be set up for attendees to try out the game and face the field boss, the Dragon of Death.
