The browser game So I’m a Spider, So What? Ruler of the Labyrinth was officially released today, October 23, on the G123 platform. This adaptation is the first video game based on the popular So I’m a Spider, So What? light novel and anime series, which has sold more than 8 million copies worldwide. With this new installment, fans will be able to explore the anime universe directly from their browser, embarking on an exciting dungeon crawling adventure.
Main features of the game
Evolution and customization
The game allows players to start as a Small Lesser Taratect, the weakest species, and progress to become an Arachne and other races. The evolution system includes both races from the anime and some created specifically for the game, offering a variety of options and unique abilities throughout the adventure.
Kumoko customization
One of the highlights is the ability to customize the main character, Kumoko. As players defeat monsters in dungeons, they can store them in the “Spider Cocoon” and, upon opening it, receive randomized equipment such as head and face accessories. These items allow Kumoko’s appearance to be customized, adding a touch of originality to the player’s progress.
Dungeon exploration and skill enhancement
The main objective of the game is to explore dungeons, defeat enemies and improve both the character’s skills and equipment. Decisions in the evolution tree will be key to advance and conquer the challenging environments.
