Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. has announced that its new mobile game SD Gundam G Generation Eternal is now available for pre-register on the App Store and Google Play stores. Furthermore, “Eternal Communication Vol.5” has been released along with exclusive pre-registration benefits, offering players special rewards for joining before launch.
Broad Selection of Gundam Series and Units
Development Model without Paid Items
One of the standout features of SD Gundam G Generation Eternal is its focus on fairness and game balance. The developers have stated that, at this time, they are not planning to include paid items in the development feature.
- Unit Development:
Players can only develop units by progressing through levels and missions within the game. This means that, unlike in earlier Closed Beta Test (CBT) phases, units obtained through the “mobile supply” feature cannot be upgraded with real money, preventing pay-to-win shortcuts that could unbalance the gameplay experience. - Specific Development Paths:
Development paths are determined by the series and faction, preventing units developed within one series (like Mobile Suit Gundam) from being mixed with the development line of another (such as Mobile Suit Z Gundam). This separation is implemented to preserve the integrity of each franchise in the game.
Mobile Supply Feature and Character Acquisition
The “mobile supply” system will allow players to obtain both units and support staff. In this feature, certain characters will appear together with units the first time they are acquired. However, a separate “character supply” option is not currently planned.
- Character Acquisition:
Players will be able to obtain characters in two ways: through the mobile supply feature, which will also include units not present in the main storylines or events, or by progressing through the narrative works of the game.
Details of Initial Content and Narrative Works
At launch, SD Gundam G Generation Eternal will include:

Representing various Gundam series. - Over 500 Combat Units:
Featuring a wide variety of designs and capabilities. - 10 Playable Narrative Works:
Among which, titles such as Mobile Suit Gundam, Mobile Suit Z Gundam, Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ, Gundam Reconguista in G, Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, Mobile Suit Gundam X, Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, and Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury will be available to experience. Some of these works (marked with an asterisk in official documentation) will initially offer only part of their story, with the completion planned for future updates.
Inclusion of "GQuuuuuuX" and Pre-registration Benefits
The developers have also confirmed the inclusion of the “GQuuuuuuX” unit from the Gundam GQuuuuuuX series.
- Free Distribution:
After completing the tutorial for new players, each account will be able to obtain this unit for free. It will be limited to one unit per account, ensuring all players have access to the latest content from the Gundam franchise.
Furthermore, a special pre-register event for SD Gundam G Generation Eternal has been launched, where rewards will be granted based on the accumulated number of pre-registrations. Among the bonuses, players can receive rewards equivalent to up to 10x high-level mobile supply diamonds and enhancement materials, helping to boost progress from the start of the game.
