The broadcast with the developers announced the arrival of version 2.0 of Reverse: 1999. We previously informed you about the 1.9 update on the occasion of the first anniversary celebration campaign and once completed, version 2.0 will start on October 31, 2024.

Devs broadcast
A livestream with the developers of Reverse: 1999 announced version 2.0 titled Floor it! To the Golden City along with many new technical features:
- New settings in the Resonance system will allow us to save and quickly switch between them.
- Possibility to level up the units with a simple tap, selecting the desired level and adjusting the required material consumption.
- New specifications in the character invocations. A 5 star character or higher will be guaranteed for the first 10 summons.
- Changes in the Anecdotes system. It will no longer be necessary to use Penumbra Cans to participate in Anecdote events while they are open, but they will still be necessary to participate in Anecdote events in which you did not participate to unlock them permanently.
- AP Area Optimization. Sometimes a large amount of AP or special enchantments were shown totally disturbing the display. After the optimization you will be able to scroll from left to right to read them.
- Improved achievement system. Once you obtain all the objectives of a set of achievements, you will unlock a complete collection emblem.
- New Jukebox missions will allow you to quickly raise decibel levels for rewards.
In addition, the 2.0 version of Reverse: 1999 will last for 35 days in total, until December 5, so the roaring decibel level for the next Roar Jukebox period will go directly to level 11 after the update.
As a thank you for the community’s continued support, Clear Drop x720 and Jar of Picrasma Candy x6 will be given out via the game’s internal mail.
New features of version 2.0
The 2.0 version of Reverse: 1999 will start on October 31st right after the end of the first anniversary celebration campaign. The update will include numerous campaigns, events, new characters and much more.
Events and rewards
During version 2.0 you will be able to enjoy the main event “Floor it! To the Golden City” where players will travel back to the 90’s to the rhythm of the music.
- [Main Event] Floor it! To the Golden City to get Clear Drop and Spiritual Crystal Clusters.
- [Event] Alleyway Graffiti to get the new 3* Pioneer character and the Tang’s Restaurant event building.
- [Event] Disco Calendar where you can complete assignments to get rewards such as Spiritual Crystal Clusters.
- [Event] Convergence of Pneuma where you can exchange Spiritual Crystal Clusters obtained during the event for great rewards such as the new 6* Pyschube Starlight Wellspring.
- [Character Story Event] Mercuria On the Thousandth Night to obtain Clear Drops.
- [Character Story Event] The San Francisco Kids to obtain Clear Drops.
- [New Anecdote] Sotheby – The Lady’s Etiquette and La Source – Only Water Springs Know to obtain the 5* Pyschube, Greed.
- [Daily Connection Event] Bayside Beats I to get Unilog x14 through the daily connection event during version 2.0.
- [Phase Reward Update] The Window to Other Worlds A Series of Dusks increases to Phase IV and V to obtain the new 6* Pyschube From the Depths.

- [Event] Uttu Spotlight Edition – Midnight Mayhem to get new music themes and character frames.
New characters
Three new units have been announced that will be available throughout Reverse: 1999 version 2.0. The units are the following:
- Unit 6* Mercuria (Spirit), may be summoned from October 31 until November 21.
- Unit 6* J (Beast), may be summoned from November 21 until December 5.
- Unit 3* Pioneer, can be obtained for free during the Alleyway Graffiti event.
New collaboration announced
A Reverse: 1999 collaboration with Discovery Channel has been scheduled from November 14 through December 12. The collaboration will be called “Around the Third Rock” and will bring two new skins to the game:
