OCTOPATH TRAVELER: Champions of the Continent is preparing for a major update that will bring new features, events, and characters following its transfer to NetEase.
Update to Version 3.8.1
What's New in the 3.8.1 Update?
The update introduces a series of exciting new features:

Day/Night System: The new continent Solistia allows players to switch between day and night, affecting Path Actions and available Quests.

Dual Fate Ring: Progress in two continents to obtain the “Dual Fate Light,” which lets you enhance the “Dual Fate Ring” and gain bonuses.

Ouma Region: A new high-difficulty area in Solistia where you can obtain rewards and materials to craft special weapons.

Auto Battle: A new feature allowing you to toggle between manual and automatic modes during battles.

Formation Copy: Quickly copy existing formations to other slots.

Game Board Update: Use up to 99 game tickets simultaneously.

Soul Weapons Update: Choose between keeping previous options or selecting new random options when using Void Dust.

Hunts Update: Hunt Influence requirements will change from the influence of a single continent to the sum of influence from both continents.

Trials Tower Update: Clearing a level in the Profession Trial will automatically complete all previously cleared lower difficulty levels.

New Daily Activity Reset Time: Reset times for daily activities like Guides, Daily Tasks, Feats, and Hunts will now occur at 8:00 PM (UTC). Check in-game notices for more details.
New Version Events and Bonuses
The update also introduces a series of events and bonuses to celebrate the launch of version 3.8.1:

Daily Login Rewards: Receive a total of 600 Free Rubies, 6000 Awakening Stone Fragments, 30 Traveler’s Sacred Seals, and 1 Veteran’s Sacred Seal (from January 16 to February 6, 2025).

New Continent Celebration Guide: A free daily Guide available during the event (from January 16 to February 5, 2025).

New Special Tasks: Complete tasks to earn Awakening Stone Fragments and other rewards (from January 16 to February 13, 2025).

All Travelers Boost Post-Hunt: Event (from January 16 to January 23, 2025).

“Punish the Cunning Cait IV” Event: Event available (from January 16 to January 23, 2025).
New Travelers and Additional Upgrades

New Travelers: The 6★ characters Partitio (Merchant) from Solistia Memories and Isla (Scholar) from Cat of Memories will be added to the guide. Each Step-by-Step Guide will reward you with New Continent Celebration Fragments, which can be used to obtain Sacred Seals for the new characters.

Main Scenario Update: Chapter 1 of “The Chosen” from the “Solistia Chapter.”

Side Stories and Memories Updates:

New Packs: Special store packs include celebration Rubies and enhancement packs for Partitio and Isla.

“Traveler’s Rest Stop” Background: Unlock the main scenario to receive a large amount of Rubies.

Character Adjustments: Adjustments have been made to Isla (Cat of Memories).
