Resonance Solstice already had two servers, China and Taiwan, to which the Japanese server will be added and will be available from October 17 at 10:00 (GMT+9). This game will be available for both iOS and Android.
What is Resonance Solstice about?
Resonance Solstice is a Card Strategy Railroad Adventure RPG, a game where we will be part of the “Columba Company” and being the driver of a train and we will have to travel from station to station while performing tasks and missions in each of them, from making deliveries of materials or escort passengers while we protect our train from the incessant plague of monsters that plague the world in order to save the world on the brink of survival.
Gameplay and mechanics
In Resonance Solstice you will travel through different regions while operating a railroad with 3D graphics. It is a train simulator where you will be able to regulate the power of the train, choose where to deliver and get more benefits from your cargo and even assign the most qualified characters to each section, while you will be able to decorate the facilities.
On the other hand, we will obtain characters from different factions that will become part of the passengers and with which we will have to face the threats that we find during our travels. The currently known factions are:
- Columba: Company of the Railroad Alliance to which we belong. It performs important missions of transporting goods and passengers.
- B.C.R.L. (Bonfire City Railways League): Organization allied with the management authority over all railroads. It is responsible for important tasks such as city reconstructions and railroad safety.
- Gardeners: A giant in the technology industry that leads the world. Holds patents for train engines and morphic field stabilizers.
- Source Citadel: Seekers, holders and overseers of knowledge and technology since ancient times. They possess advanced technology beyond imagination that many people can even comprehend.
- Night ChainS: A business group called Kurozuki Foundation. The company operates in all kinds of entertainment based businesses but there are rumors that they also operate in gray areas such as assassinations, information theft and weapons smuggling.
The combat system will consist of a real-time card combat where choosing well will determine the success or failure of our mission, while choosing wisely who accompanies you in each battle will be essential.
An art that seeks to leave no one indifferent
One of the sections that stands out the most is the graphics. Production I.G., an animation studio well known for works such as Pyscho-Pass, Daiya no Ace, Haikyû!! or Kaiju no.8 and with the animator and mechanical designer Masami Obari (Gundam), is in charge of it.
And as if that were not enough, another of the artistic sections in which they seek to make a difference is in the soundtrack, with Hiroyuki Sawano and Kohta Yamamoto.
