Publisher and developer NextNinja has released a trailer of the mobile game “Gakuen Bungou Stray Dogs ” (working title), based on the popular anime series Bungou Stray Dogs. This game promises a new experience for fans, allowing them to play with familiar characters and explore an intriguing twist in a high school setting. The game is expected to be available for iOS and Android devices in Japan during the first half of 2025.

The recently released trailer features the theme song performed by GRANRODEO titled “魔ガツ夜ハ青ナリ” (roughly translated as “The Blue Night of Evil”). The History of the Game: A New Alternate Reality
The game, set in the fictional Sakurashin Private Academy during the spring season, features a fresh story in a familiar setting. As the school year begins, players encounter iconic characters such as Atsushi Nakajima, a new classmate, and Osamu Dazai, a mysterious senior, among others. In the midst of everyday life at the academy, the students discover an ancient forbidden school building and, attracted by an enigmatic black cat, decide to explore its interior. This ancient building hides a mirror that transports the characters to a parallel dimension, known as the “Dark Kingdom ” (ヰ界), where inexplicable events and unknown dangers await them.
This plot twist adds a level of intrigue and tension to the story, combining the everyday with the supernatural in a mix that promises to keep players interested.
