Hachigatsu no Cinderella Nine‘s server closure will take place on December 17, 2024. The popular Japanese game will end its service after 7 years, having obtained great achievements during its years of activity, such as a novel, a manga and even an anime adaptation.
Closing date and important details
According to the official announcement, the Hachigatsu no Cinderella Nine server is scheduled to close on December 17, 2024 at 17:00 (UTC+9). As of October 17, the Nine Star purchase options have been reduced to two options, with the purchase of the Nine Star closing as of November 5.
With the closing of the server it is planned to release version 8.9.0, so it will be possible to play the game offline with some special features from December 17 (with a maintenance from 13:00 to 17:00) and the introduction of the final chapter of the story. The game will remain in the store until March 17, 2025 for everyone who wants to complete the final chapter.
Refund procedure
Akatsuki Games has announced that once the Hachigatsu no Cinderella Nine server closes, a refund application period will be opened for all paid Nine Star accounts with certain requirements:
- Hachigatsu no Cinderella Nine Account
- Hachigatsu no Cinderella Nine application (the game)
- A bank account and personal details
It is important to add that the refund procedures will be detailed in the FAQ’s and in-game notifications once the server is closed, not forgetting that the application must not be deleted during the refund period and that the deadline to apply for the refund will be March 17, 2025.
