Azure Flame Studio is set to launch the public beta for its upcoming urban supernatural game, Echoes of Vision, on November 13, 2024 in China.
Game Plot
This game takes players into the heart of Lengshan City, a metropolis that, despite its peaceful façade, is home to disturbing supernatural events known as “Echoes.” In Echoes of Vision, players assume the role of a Special Investigation Division Chief within the Crisis Response Bureau, tasked with handling these enigmatic occurrences that lurk in every corner of the city, posing a genuine threat to the lives of its inhabitants.

Urban Mystery
In Lengshan City, players will experience a world where urban myths come to life. They will encounter strange rooms that seem to repeat themselves endlessly, a train station that defies reality, and ominous figures such as the unnerving ‘Rainmen’, who emit a damp, fishy smell. This surreal atmosphere invites players to explore the absurd while discovering hidden dangers.
Puzzle Solving
The game emphasises puzzle-solving mechanics, allowing players to develop detective skills. As the Chief, players will analyse and decipher clues using advanced investigative tools. Each clue found brings them closer to the truth hidden in the depths of Lengshan, slowly revealing the dark secrets behind this supernatural world.
Strategic Combat with Cover Mechanics
Echoes of Vision introduces elements of tactical combat, utilising terrain and strategic counter-attacks. These mechanics offer an advantage when investigating areas affected by ‘Echoes’. By carefully navigating the environment and using cover, players will be able to turn the tide of confrontations against entities hidden in the shadows.
Unique Allies with Dark Secrets
Throughout the game, players will be able to recruit a variety of allies from different backgrounds. Colleagues from the Crisis Response Office, individuals obsessed with summoning higher forces, and even Echo entities can become powerful allies.
