Crunchyroll, in collaboration with A PLUS JAPAN, has announced the release of OVERLORD: Lord of Nazarick, a new turn-based role-playing game based on the popular anime Overlord. The game will be available in English worldwide on iOS and Android devices in the fall of 2024, coinciding with the release of the movie OVERLORD: The Sacred Kingdom.
OVERLORD: Lord of Nazarick will allow players to relive the anime’s story from a fresh perspective, as well as explore new and canonical scenarios created exclusively for the game. Players will be able to recruit over 50 iconic characters from the series, including guardians and pleiades, with promises of regular updates adding more characters.
The gameplay will focus on strategy, allowing players to form teams with five classes and three unique attributes to engage in turn-based battles. In addition to the main campaign, the game will offer roguelite dungeons, boss challenges, and minigames, promising a varied and dynamic experience.
