Developer Yostar has revealed news for Azur Lane players. In a recent broadcast, a special collaboration with the famous anime To Love-Ru Darkness was confirmed. This event will be available from November 21 until maintenance on December 5, 2024.
Event details
The event centers on Lala’s new invention, the “Great Game Maker,” a device originally intended to create stories full of magical adventures. However, the invention spirals out of control, spawning unknown enemies that will test the Queen and her team.
Highlights of this event include:
New playable characters
6 new characters based on To Love-Ru Darkness will be added:
- SSR Lala Satalin Deviluke (Heavy Cruiser, CV: Haruka Tomatsu).
- SSR Nana Astar Deviluke (Destroyer, CV: Kanae Itou)
- SSR Momo Belia Deviluke (Light Cruiser, CV: Aki Toyosaki)
- SSR Golden Darkness (Yami) (Battleship, CV: Misato Fukuen)
- SR Haruna Sairenji (Battlecruiser, CV: Sayuri Yahagi)
- SR Yui Kotegawa (Aircraft Carrier, CV: Kaori Nazuka)
Mechanics of obtaining
- Yui Kotegawa will be available as a cumulative reward by collecting the event item “Energy Stones”.
- The other characters can be obtained through gacha, except Momo Belia Deviluke, who can be redeemed with Energy Stones.
Rewards and exclusive items
During the event, it will be possible to get:
- Special equipment for the six collaborative characters by completing various missions.
- Additional items through the special mission “Help, Miss Lala!”
- Themed decorations and exclusive furniture for the game’s bedroom.
New costumes and redesigns
The event also brings a wide selection of costumes:
- New designs for the six characters of the collaboration.
- Additional appearances for existing characters Ulrich von Hutten and August von Parseval.
- The costumes for Lala, Nana and Momo will include a free trial option with coupons.
In addition, certain costumes from the past will be re-released with an improved user interface.
Other featured announcements
The live stream also presented additional information about the game:
- New World Cruise update on December 1, with rewards such as Giulio Cesare META.
- New items for the bedroom: “Royal Tea Set” available from November 21.
- The “Whisper Archive” feature will incorporate new characters.
- Merchandise releases and external collaborations, such as the Azur Lane Seventh Anniversary Art Collection art book (on sale December 20) and events in collaboration with Don Quixote and HMV.
