On January 11th, the livestream for the 5th anniversary of Arknights took place, where all the news, events, and rewards for players celebrating the anniversary with the game starting tomorrow, January 16th, were revealed. Below, we will share the most important details from the broadcast.

- Normal mode from January 16th to February 6th.
- Hard mode from January 23rd to February 6th.
- Challenge mode from January 30th to February 6th.
New Characters
With the arrival of Arknights’ 5th anniversary, we will have four new characters available, one of them being free:
- Papyrus [5*] will be a chain Healer operator that we can obtain for free through a token exchange.
- Sand Reckoner [5*] will be a Support operator that we will obtain as a featured 5* unit in the event gacha.
- Narantuya [6*] will be a Sniper operator available in the event gacha.
- Pepe [6*] will be a limited Guard operator. This time traveler can only be obtained during the anniversary period in her specific gacha.
New outfits
New outfits were also announced for the following characters:
- Weedy – Misaligned Sightseer Collection – Sedjem
- Hoederer – Misaligned Sightseer Collection – Courtyard of Neka
- Nightingale – Misaligned Sightseer Collection – Iakhu of Flows
- Poncirus – EPOQUE Collection – To Rest in Night Breezes
- Eyjafjalla the Hvít Aska – EPOQUE Collection – A Picnic Before A Long Trip

- Gemstone Engraving will be a crafting event where we will earn rewards as we discover new types.
- Bazaar Wishing Wall will be a daily connection event for locating Orundum nodes.
- Event Guidebook will require completing main event missions to earn tokens for exchange.
- A 10-pull ticket reward for daily connections during the event. Additionally, a free pull will be available each day during the event for the limited gacha.
- Daily connection event for 10 days to celebrate the 5th anniversary.
- The Rhodes Fashion Review will reopen for the duration of the event.
- Sale of various cosmetic sets for bedrooms themed around Menat-Ha’Mait.
