The version 2.2 of Reverse: 1999 will be available starting from January 9th. In this new update, we will travel to São Paulo, where we will meet new companions and new adventures.

Main story of version 2.2
Our journey now takes us to São Paulo, where the stationed forces of Zeno, a mysterious writer and a “familiar face” who disappeared in the “storm” await us…. As tensions reignite, perhaps it’s time to reevaluate the alliances you’ve maintained so far.
Complete the main story to earn great rewards exclusive to the release of the update.
New characters
During version 2.2 of Reverse: 1999, four new characters will join, and we recommend you not to miss them:
- Anjo Mala (Beast) – Character 6*
- Mr. Duncan (Beast) – Character 5*
- Lopera (Beast) – Character 5*
- White Rum – Character 4*
Additionally, a gachapon will be added where you can pre-select 3 units of 6* to increase their acquisition rate.
Announced events
- Get a free 6* character that you don’t already own from version 1.9 after the first login following the update. If you own all the characters, you can select a 6* character Artifact instead.
- Log in to receive the Collector’s Edition of Roar Jukebox: Carnival Album for free.
- Log in to get Decatone – [Longing for Innocence] and 10 pulls for the Longing for Innocence gachapon.
- Log in daily to receive Unilog, up to a total of 10.
- Log in to get one of the following 5* characters: X, Darling, Blue Baby, Charlie, Bkornblume, Dikke, Balloon Fiesta, Necrologist, Satsuki, Tennant, Click, Blonney, Horrorpedia, Diggers, Kanjira, Desert T-Shirt, Ulu, Yenisei, and Avgust.
- Reward board upon completing objectives.
- Login as part of the countdown to version 2.2’s release.
- Random rewards for each login.
- New event called White Rum’s Travelogue, which will be a tile-matching mini-game to obtain the new 4* character White Rum.
- New Challenge Mode where we can obtain Poltergeist – [Under a Different Sea].
- Increased drop rate in Pneuma Analysis.
