Nintendo has announced a new paid version of Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, titled Animal Crossing Pocket Camp Complete, which will be available for download on December 3, 2024. This release is in response to the upcoming end of service for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, scheduled for 29 November 2024. Pocket Camp Complete will allow players to continue their progress in the game and explore new features.

The game will be available for a regular price of $19.99, but will have a special launch promotion until 31 January 2025, allowing users to purchase the game for $9.99. Nintendo has released an explanatory video detailing the method of transferring data from the previous game and introducing the new elements of this version.

Transferring Data from Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp
The new version will allow players to transfer much of their saved data from Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, as long as a linked Nintendo account is used. Data that will be able to be transferred includes:
- Camper level
- Amount of Bells accumulated
- Friendship relationship with known animals
- Savedcrafting objects and materials
- Camp, cabin and camper designs
- Clothing and custom designs
However, some items will not be transferable, such as Leaf Tickets, the premium Pocket Camp Club service, and the option to play with friends in real time.
New features in Animal Crossing Pocket Camp Complete
In addition to preserving data from the original game, this version of Animal Crossing introduces new features, such as the “Leaf Stone” currency, which replaces Leaf Tickets in the purchase of furniture and other items. Additionally, certain Pocket Camp Friend Membership features will now be available for free.
A significant change is the elimination of the constant internet connection. In its place, a new interaction tool, the “My Camper Card”, has been developed that will allow players to share details with friends and make exchanges at the location called “Whistle Summit”. However, players must have the updated version of Pocket Camp and sync it with their friend’s account to activate this feature.
