Aether Gazer has revealed a significant update that coincides with the launch of its anticipated event “Full Moon Over the Abyssal Sea“. This notable update introduces two new side stories, enriching the gaming experience for the community of players. Furthermore, players can anticipate the arrival of a new and powerful S-Grade Modifier, novel outfits for Modifiers, and a wide selection of generous rewards. The event will be active until March 17th, offering players ample time to explore the new content and enjoy all the improvements.
Limited-Time Event "Full Moon Over the Abyssal Sea"
The “Full Moon Over the Abyssal Sea” update for Aether Gazer introduces various new features. Among the most prominent additions are the new side stories: “Sword Song Part I” and “Summertime Spree Part II“. These parallel narratives offer players the opportunity to delve deeper into the game’s lore and expand their understanding of the Aether Gazer universe, while also providing new challenges and missions.
Players who complete the event objectives and challenges will be able to obtain shifted stars, along with other valuable resources that will boost their progress.
New S-Grade Modifier: Serene Moon - Selene
Serene Moon – Selene is a S-Grade Modifier. Selene, holder of the fifth seat of the Astral Council of Omorfies and President of the Choir Association, is presented as an enigmatic and powerful figure. Her permanent residence on the island of Krete and her distant and reserved personality make her a fascinating character.
On the battlefield, Selene stands out as a melee Modifier. Her gameplay mechanics introduce a dynamic system of lunar states. At the beginning of each encounter, Selene starts in the New Moon state. As she lands basic attacks and skills against her enemies, she accumulates points that allow her to transition to the Full Moon state by activating her third skill. This state change consumes the accumulated points and in return, significantly enhances her damage output, turning Selene into a devastating force in close combat.
New Ultimate Skillchains
The Ultimate Skillchains, a central and distinctive gameplay mechanic, are expanded with the addition of two new combinations that offer new synergies and tactical options for advanced players:

Grand Finale: Serene Moon – Selene & Puppet Master – Hades. This new Ultimate Skillchain combines the lunar power of Selene with the strategic control of Hades, suggesting a combination of damage and crowd control.

Thunder Ice Slam: Flower of Yomi – Izanami & Somezakura – Buzenbo Tengu. This Skillchain combines the elements of ice and thunder from Izanami and Buzenbo Tengu, anticipating a devastating attack that exploits elemental weaknesses.
New Sigils and Functors
The “Full Moon Over the Abyssal Sea” update also introduces new tools for the customization and optimization of Modifiers:

New Sigil: Mooncrown. This new 3-piece set of Sigils is designed to empower Modifiers that deal Shadow DMG. The set effect Mooncrown increases Shadow DMG overall and also increases Non-DoT Skill DMG when a skill attack of Shadow hits.

New Exclusive Functor: Herald – Endymion. Accompanying the release of Serene Moon – Selene, the 5-star Functor Herald – Endymion is introduced. Equipping this Functor, especially recommended for Selene, substantially increases the Modifier’s damage efficiency.
New Outfits and Additional Content in the Store
To complement the update, the Aether Gazer store receives new cosmetic items and additional content. Players will be able to acquire two new outfits for their Modifiers:

“Seaside Stroll” for Serene Moon – Selene: An outfit that reflects a more relaxed and summery side of the cold Selene.
