Sword of Convallaria, the tactical role-playing game developed by XD Inc, continues to expand its world with the release of the “Night Crimson” update on December 27, 2024.

Arrival of “Night Crimson”.
The update, titled “Night Crimson,” will arrive on December 27, 2024, introducing a new chapter in “Spiral of Destiny” that immerses players in an investigative storyline set in Waverun City. Players will take on the role of detectives, utilizing a clue wall mechanic to solve mysteries through strategic battles. Guided by Safiyyah, the strategic leader of the mobile squad, players must combine their detective acumen with tactical skills.

New Characters and SP
One of the most notable additions in “Night Crimson” is the introduction of SP Characters. These alternate versions of existing characters feature new appearances and unique combat skills, representing different moments in their lives. The upcoming characters include:
- SP Rawiyah, available on January 3, 2025.
- Taair, available on January 17, 2025.
Players who own both the original and SP versions of a character can unlock an exclusive SP skill, significantly boosting the combat power of both versions.

Events and Rewards
In addition, the update features a series of in-game events that began on December 20 and will culminate with the launch of “Night Crimson.” Completing these events will reward players with valuable items, including Secret Fates and legendary trinkets. The Waverun Tournament, starting on January 3, will allow players to exchange event points for exclusive items and avatar frames.
Additional Content
To provide a closer look at the game’s development, additional special content will be included, such as messages from the developers about the future of Sword of Convallaria. Additionally, Safiyyah’s Japanese voice actress will share a video message. A new theme song, “Never Apart,” featuring a preview of the Japanese version performed by Hikasa Yoko, will also be part of the update.
