Duet Night Abyss: PC and Mobile Closed Beta Recruitment Begins

The game developer Pan Studio, part of Hero Games, announced today, January 13, 2025, the opening of registrations for the closed beta of their highly anticipated 3D action RPG and adventure game, Duet Night Abyss. Registrations will be open until February 10, and the limited-time test will be available to players who receive an invitation on both PC and mobile devices.

Narrative and Game Mechanics

Duet Night Abyss features two protagonists, redefining traditional single-perspective narratives. Players will experience two parallel but intertwined stories for an immersive, multi-layered gaming experience.

In Duet Night Abyss, players will delve into a world of magic and machinery, battling enemies while controlling demon-inspired characters in fast-paced combat. Players can utilize a variety of long-range and melee weapons, seamlessly switching between two fighting styles. The progression system “Demon Wedges” eliminates randomness in item upgrades with fixed attributes, significantly reducing grinding for players. The “Demon Wedges” also enable customization of item sets that alter skill mechanics, enhancing the excitement of every encounter.

The announcement of the closed beta was accompanied by a new trailer highlighting the latest game features, such as weapon color customization, pet companions, and cooperative multiplayer modes. The trailer showcases the progress made in development since its first technical test in 2024 and the live demo presented at Tokyo Game Show 2024.

How to Access the Beta

In addition to completing the questionnaire and signing up through the official website, there are other ways to secure a spot in the invitation-only test. Players are encouraged to follow Duet Night Abyss on X (formerly Twitter) and participate in community events for more chances to gain beta access. Additionally, players can join the web event “Fina’s Letter of Sweet Dreams” to win rewards and gain access to the beta.

Successful applicants will receive an email with detailed playtesting instructions after the end of the recruitment period.
