The Marvel Universe expands once again, this time into the realm of mobile gaming with the launch of the Closed Beta (CBT) of Marvel Mystic Mayhem, a new team-based tactical RPG. The game, developed by NetEase Games in collaboration with Marvel Games, began its testing phase on January 8, 2025, at 1:00 PM GMT/UTC+0.
A Tactical Challenge in the Marvel Universe
Marvel Mystic Mayhem offers a gaming experience where strategy and team composition are crucial. Players can recruit iconic Marvel Superheroes, such as Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Moon Knight, and Scarlet Witch, to face the villain Nightmare. This villain, with the ability to manipulate reality using the deepest fears of heroes and villains, aims to dominate the world, creating a threat that demands careful planning and the intelligent use of each character’s unique abilities.
The game emphasizes strategic combat, where players must navigate through dangerous dungeons manifested from the nightmares of Superheroes. Doctor Strange and Sleepwalker play a vital role, as their connection to the realm of the mind (Mindscape) allows them to equip their allies with dream energy to face these challenges. The ability to form three-hero teams opens up a wide range of tactical possibilities.
