Lilith Games has officially announced the third season of AFK Journey, titled “Chains of Eternity.” This new installment, departing from the desert and pirate settings of previous seasons, immerses players in a winter landscape filled with new content and challenges.

Launch Date and New Scenarios
The “Chains of Eternity” season will be available starting on January 17, 2025. This provides players with enough time to conclude their current activities and prepare to explore the new regions. Among them, highlights include:
The Duchy of Whiteridge: An area that, while similar to Holistone, is distinguished by its winter theme.
The Snowveil Hills: This place is home to an imposing ice castle, surrounded by layers of snow and a storm that guards its entrance. It also surprises with meadows full of life and flowers, contrasting with its icy surroundings.
New Heroes: The Arrival of Lorsan!
As is customary in each new season, new heroes are added to the game’s roster. The “Chains of Eternity” season introduces:
Valka (A-Level / Graveborn / Warrior)
Lorsan (S-Level / Wilder / Support)
Elijah & Lailah (S-Level / Celestial / Support)
The arrival of Lorsan is undoubtedly one of the highlights of this season. His appearance has been eagerly awaited by the community since the game’s launch, after brief appearances in the story.
Events, Artifacts and Primal Bosses
The new season also brings a series of events and additional content:
“Snowspire Gift” Login Event: A 7-day login event that offers a total of 18 Epic Invite Letters and the chance to choose from four epic heroes: Lily May, Ludovic, Vala, and Alsa.
12 New Artifacts: A crucial aspect of the game, artifacts receive an expansion with twelve new options that promise to alter game strategies and dynamics.
New Primal Lords: Players will have the opportunity to face two new bosses: the Mirage Frostspike and the Nocturne Judicator, which will be revealed throughout the season.
New Cosmetics
Finally, the season also comes with a variety of cosmetics that can be obtained through events, battle passes, or the in-game store:
