Development and style of play
Developed by the in-house Webzen Nova team, TERBIS represents a new direction for the company, as it is its first anime-style game. The MU Online series, which began in 2003, has been the company’s flagship for years, but TERBIS promises to deliver a completely new and fresh experience. In addition, the development team is working with external partners to create a media mix strategy that will potentially include manga series, Webtoons, anime and more.

At a recent event, Comic Market 104, held August 11-12, WEBZEN presented a booth dedicated to TERBIS. Additionally, on October 31, 2024, the official teaser of the game was released on its X account.

Classes and characters
In the demo version of TERBIS, players can choose between two classes for their main character: Guardian and Archer. Two additional classes are expected to be added at the game’s launch. Importantly, there will be no class upgrade system, allowing players to enjoy a more straightforward and balanced experience.
Variety of characters
TERBIS will offer a variety of collectible characters mixing both genres. In total, 40 characters are expected to be available at launch, 30 of which will have unique animation sequences.
