The popular mobile game Konosuba: Fantastic Days will officially end its service on January 30, 2025. This decision, announced by the game’s developers, marks the conclusion of an era for fans of the Konosuba franchise, which enjoyed a dedicated following and consistent updates over the years.
Konosuba: Fantastic Days Closure
The game will cease all online functionality as of 3:00 PM (JST) on the specified date. In preparation for this transition, the developers have scheduled an offline version to be released concurrently with the end-of-service (EoS). This offline mode is intended to allow players to continue enjoying certain elements of the game, including character illustrations and storylines. Unfortunately, it will not be available outside Japan.
Offline Version Details
The offline version of Konosuba: Fantastic Days aims to retain a sense of continuity for players, allowing them to access key features such as:
- Adventurer Book: A section where players can view character illustrations and voice lines.
- Story Mode: All previously released stories will be accessible for review.
Further information about the offline mode, including additional features, will be released by the developers closer to the launch date. The PC version will support the refund request function, but most in-game functionalities will no longer be available.
Important Refund Information
For players who have purchased in-game currency (referred to as “Quarts”), a refund process has been established. Key details are as follows:
- Refund Period: Refund requests can be submitted from January 31, 2025, 11:00 AM (JST) to May 7, 2025, 3:00 PM (JST).
- Only paid Quarts at the time of the service’s end are eligible for refunds.
- To complete the refund process, users will need a refund request ID, which can be obtained within the app.
Players are advised to retain the app until the refund process is completed, as removing it prematurely may disrupt the refund application.
